First Tip To get the Ball Rolling

'Installing a Re-chromed MK2 Fulcrum Clip'

I have been asked about this quite a few times now, once your fulcrum clip

is chromed, the clip appears to need spreading apart to enable it to be installed

around the right side Sissy bar frame tube.

As you start to spread the clip a cracking sound is heard!

This is the chrome splitting at the center point as the clip is opened.

The following tip shows how the clip is fitted without the need for the clip to be spread apart.

Trying to fit the clip without spreading it apart.

Note: The Sissy bar tube is wider than the gap in the Clip.

Move the clip to the rear where the frame joins the rear dropout

Carefully slide the clip onto the frame as shown above.

*********************************

Now slide the clip into position

being careful not to scratch the nice new paint.

And there you have it!

The first TIP

Any comments greatly received.
