It is nice to see after all the fuss about Jim Barnards Raleigh Chopper frame number, he has proved beyond all doubt, he does have the oldest Raleigh Chopper in the world. Well done Jim. Your £100 reward is on its way soon.

Hi Mark,
   Please view in numerical order, the pictures I took (every few minutes) of my removal (a few minutes ago) of the re-sprayed left dropout.
   No Cheese. No renumbering.
   Just a bad weld/ braze from years ago, a terrible grinding job at the sissy stay and an intact factory weld between the wheel stay and the drop out. Note burn marks and bubbling at the line between the factory paint and the weld.
   Shall we call Paul Trainer's Pop?
