Barry's lucky find
Yesterday, while at work, I noticed something vaguely
familiar poking out
the back of a skip. Upon further inspection, it proved to be the
back end of
Chopper! I gave it a yank, but it was stuck fast. So, putting my
pride
aside(!) I climbed into the skip to free it. I kid you not, I
went totally
crazy when I realised it was caught on ANOTHER Chopper! I
recovered one of
the Choppers complete (now identified as an orange MK1 TCW
DL520), and the
second without a back wheel (A black as yet unknown model,
NK0423***, which
I'm told is July 1980?). Fortunately, someone had had the
foresight to
include two separate back wheels, found moments later deeper in
the skip!!
